MerryGlow Lighting is searching for one confident, funny, and expressive woman to portray the Glow Goddess, the recurring lead character and public face of our 2026 holiday campaign.

The role
Meet the Glow Goddess
The Glow Goddess is MerryGlow's signature holiday personality: warm, magnetic, playful, and impossible to ignore. She brings the brand to life through short-form videos, promotional campaigns, holiday lighting transformations, and occasional local appearances.
$125 Per Completed Shoot
Each completed shoot is expected to last approximately 2–4 hours. Multiple paid shoots are anticipated throughout the campaign, although a specific number of bookings is not guaranteed.
Performance Bonus Opportunity
The selected performer will also be eligible to earn up to a $10,000 performance bonus based on the measurable success of the Glow Goddess campaign.
Performance bonuses are not guaranteed. Eligibility, verified campaign tracking, milestone requirements, and payment timing will be outlined in a written talent agreement before production begins. This is a performance-bonus opportunity, not permanent revenue participation, equity, or ownership in MerryGlow Lighting.
The Glow Goddess Is Not a Salesperson
The Glow Goddess is the glamorous, comical observer who gives hilarious opinions on holiday decorating, reacts to questionable lighting decisions, and helps MerryGlow build trust through laughter. She is confident, expressive, charismatic, and occasionally dramatic, but she should never feel like someone reading a traditional advertisement.
She may deliver short scripts, improvise reactions, participate in comedy skits, and help explain holiday lighting through personality and humor.

Note on Performance Boundaries: The Glow Goddess does not install holiday lighting and is not expected to directly sell MerryGlow services. This is a family-friendly holiday advertising role with no nudity or adult content.
Who we're looking for
Do You Have the Glow?
- A female-presenting actor, model, content creator, host, comedian, or naturally entertaining on-camera personality
- Someone at least 18 years old
- Someone located in or able to work throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky
- Someone confident, expressive, funny, and comfortable on camera
- Someone able to perform scripted dialogue and improvise naturally
- Someone dependable enough to help build a recurring character throughout the campaign
Professional acting experience is not required. Social-media links are optional, and a large following is not necessary. We care more about personality, comedic timing, reliability, creativity, and camera presence.
Filming Schedule
Filming is expected to begin in August 2026 and continue through the holiday season, with possible campaign activity continuing through January 2027. Individual shoots will be scheduled in advance based on campaign needs and talent availability.

Try a Camera Prompt
Finalists may be invited to record or perform a short 15–30-second Glow Goddess prompt. The Glow Goddess is not a salesperson. We are looking for confidence, comedic timing, creativity, facial expressions, and a personality people genuinely enjoy watching.
Audition Prompt Examples:- “You pull up to a house with absolutely no Christmas decorations. Stay in character and give your funniest reaction as the Glow Goddess.”
- “A homeowner proudly tells you they spent six hours untangling old Christmas lights from the garage. How does the Glow Goddess respond?”
- “You see a house with one lonely strand of lights hanging from the roof. React as the Glow Goddess and tell us exactly what is going through her mind.”
Candidates are encouraged to improvise and make the character their own.
