Terms of Service

Welcome to MerryGlow Lighting. These Terms of Service outline the agreement between you ("Customer" or "you") and MerryGlow Lighting ("MerryGlow," "we," or "us") regarding our seasonal holiday-lighting design, installation, maintenance, and takedown services.

1. Service Overview

MerryGlow provides temporary, seasonal holiday-lighting installation services. All lighting materials, clips, extensions, timers, and hardware are commercial-grade property of MerryGlow and are leased to the Customer for the duration of the holiday season. We do not install customer-supplied lights.

2. Estimates and Tailored Pricing

All pricing is custom and consultation-based, calculated according to the physical measurements of the customer's property. Initial estimate ranges provided during consultation are subject to final audit on-site or via photographic measurement scale verification before installation. Estimates are not automatically generated or emailed; they are reviewed one-on-one with a lighting specialist.

3. Season-Long Maintenance

Every installation includes season-long maintenance. If a bulb fails or a string gets loose due to standard wear or winter weather, we will repair or replace it free of charge, typically within 24 hours of notification. This maintenance does not cover vandalism, animal damage, or power issues unrelated to the installation.

4. Takedown & Storage Schedule

Seasonal takedown begins on January 2nd and is completed during the first half of the month based on schedule priority and local weather conditions. We pack all displays carefully in labeled bins and store them in our climate-controlled facility until the following season.

5. Liability and Access Permission

The Customer grants MerryGlow technicians access permissions to enter the property's exterior for installation, maintenance, and takedown. MerryGlow carries comprehensive general liability and workers' compensation coverage for all installation personnel.
